Position: Sales Associate / Beauty Advisor (On-site)
Summary: Sally Beauty is a leading global distributor of beauty supplies, committed to helping customers express themselves through hair and beauty. We are seeking a Sales Associate / Beauty Advisor to create a memorable shopping experience for customers seeking hair color, cosmetics, skincare, and nails, and to serve as the advisor on the customer’s journey. The role requires product knowledge and strong customer service, with training provided by Sally Beauty when you join.
Responsibilities
Qualifications: Physical & Working Cond
- Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty
- Recommend additional and complementary products
- Inform customers about current promotions and events
- Set up displays and merchandise to highlight sales and promotions
- Enroll customers in the Loyalty program
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues
- Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values
- Adapt to a variety of schedules to suit the business needs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- Availability to meet scheduling needs
- Clear communication with customers, co-workers, and management
- Ability to apply product knowledge to customer service
- Ability to read and explain product labels
- Ability to follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by Manager
