Gilbane is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as the on-site leader responsible for the direction, successful completion, and financial outcome of large or complex construction projects, or multiple smaller projects. This role sits primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings and meetings. You will lead safety planning, project controls, and procedures; manage the project financial forecast and billings; develop and execute quality and closeout plans; supervise and coach project teams including superintendents and engineers; develop subcontracting strategies; enforce contracts, mitigate risks, and maintain project documentation. Responsibilities also include CPM scheduling for large or complex projects, coordinating with business development to align with sales strategies, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 8–12 years of experience; strong technical and communication skills; ability to work in a team; proficiency with standard software (Microsoft Office).
