This role requires a balance of empathy and high standards, enabling frequent, customer-focused delivery. Key responsibilities include driving the roadmap with stakeholders, diagnosing and removing obstacles, championing continuous improvement, applying first-principles thinking to complex problems, translating ambiguity into actionable plans, representing the customer perspective, enabling self-organization, mentoring and developing team members, and providing a clear path for career progression through development plans and objective setting.

Qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in engineering management; experience delivering SaaS enterprise software on AWS, Azure, or GCP; leading storage, compute, and infrastructure teams for SaaS and on-prem platforms; deep understanding of distributed systems and file system architectures; experience hiring and develop
