GRAIL is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Product Delivery Team. This team designs, builds, and supports software applications and backend services powering internal and external product delivery initiatives across the organization. The engineer will contribute to production-grade applications and services using modern software engineering practices, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to build features, improve system reliability, and support ongoing product delivery in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software, writing clean, well-tested code in Python and/or Go, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization, and contributing to system reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence. The role is based in Sunnyvale, California, United States, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines time in the office and remote work. GRAIL is moving to Sunnyvale in September 2026; interviews may be conducted at the current Menlo Park, California location. The on-site component requires a minimum of 60% (24 hours per week), with scheduling aligned with team and business needs and with on-site days at the Sunnyvale campus. On-site presence is encouraged on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
