Property & Entity Accountant – On-site at Park Ridge, Illinois, United States Ignite Medical Resorts is hiring for a Property & Entity Accountant to manage standard full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties and affiliated entities (management, therapy, and staffing companies). The role will oversee the general ledger, execute timely month-end closes, and prepare accurate financial statements. Additional duties may include assisting with annual HUD property audits, preparing staffing invoices, maintaining lease documents, and supporting budgeting and cost reporting. Key responsibilities: Prepare quarterly financial statements reconciled with affiliated entities; maintain lease document storage and summarize terms; assist with HUD-financed property audits; prepare staffing invoices weekly; maintain historical tax and real estate tax information and assist with consultant relationships; ensure timely payment of real estate and personal property tax bills; monitor actual vs. budget for related GL accounts and assist with budgeting; ensure ASC 842 lease accounting compliance for real estate leases; prepare schedules for Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports; gather supporting information for reimbursement from replacement reserves. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 3–5 years of professional accounting experience; experience with ERP systems; Sage Intacct is a plus; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail; ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
