Allye Energy is seeking a Field Support Engineer to lead the delivery engineering function for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Greater London, United Kingdom. You will oversee 24/7 field operations and monitoring, perform remote debugging, and develop fixes for field issues (embedded software changes), while building diagnostic tools and feeding intelligence back to software development. You will lead the Field Support team, coordinate outsourced technicians, manage on-call rotations for critical escalations, and ensure effective incident management. You will document all incidents and resolutions and drive root-cause analysis. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production support or field engineering for embedded or industrial systems, strong embedded software knowledge (C/C++, Python), experience with remote debugging, and excellent customer-facing communication. Desirable skills include battery management systems or energy storage, CAN protocols, IoT monitoring platforms, 24/7 operations experience, and experience managing remote/outsourced teams.
