The Road Home, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions within the Finance & Accounting department, including general ledger activities, complex journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Assistant Controller to prepare accurate financial statements, ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards, maintain strong internal controls, and provide guidance to accounting staff in a mission-driven environment. Key responsibilities include accounting for restricted funds and grants, audit preparation, and cross-departmental financial coordination, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements. This is an in-person position based at the TRH Headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. For the first six months, new F&A staff are required to be on-site five days a week at 1415 S Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84115; after onboarding, staff may work from home up to two days per week.
