Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking active-duty military personnel to join its Military Fellowship Program as a Test Engineer (Flight Test). The program, which partners with DoD SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes, provides up to six months of on-the-job training for service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. This opportunity is open to those currently serving on active duty and eligible for SkillBridge; it is not for veterans who have already separated from the military. As a Test Engineer, you will simulate, test, certify, and improve cutting-edge products and services spanning mission payloads, electronic systems, integrated aircraft, and orbital/space exploration systems. You will develop complex test plans and procedures, execute tests using industry-standard tools, and contribute to test processes throughout the product lifecycle. The IAS (ISR, Aviation, and Security) business area leads in ISR and aviation systems, offering end-to-end capabilities from design and integration to testing, certification, training, and logistics support. Qualifications include: active-duty status with eligibility for SkillBridge; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline with typically 10+ years of experience; advanced understanding of requirements management, system design, and systems integration; and experience in V&V activities.
