This role bridges traditional UNIX server operations with modern cloud-native delivery, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the UNIX infrastructure while leading cloud migration, CI/CD automation, and secure lifecycle management. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of UNIX Server Operations and Cloud Automation experience (or 10+ years with an AA, or 8+ years with a BS) and hands-on Azure experience with services such as App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Networking, and Azure Monitor. They should be proficient in scripting languages (Python, Puppet, Ruby, REST), CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies including ARM, Bicep, and Terraform. Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef), Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and security policies is required. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work autonomously, and experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) are essential.
