About the role
Full Cycle Accountant — Bridgeton, Missouri (On-site). Aston Carter is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support full-cycle accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, and administrative processes. This role collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial activity.

- Perform full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash activity.
- Process payroll entries and support related reporting.
- Prepare and file state sales tax reports and payments.
- Maintain accurate job costing data and review project-level financials.
- Prepare sales reports and commission statements; reconcile commission data.
- Reconcile ACH transactions with customer payments and internal records.
- Process orders related to equipment, services, and parts.
- Verify and maintain insurance documentation.
- Support administrative tasks related to financial operations and reporting.
- Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end processes.
- Ability to perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in journal entry and month-end processes.
- Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
