You will ensure patient rooms and all areas are clean and sanitized to protect patients, visitors, and staff from infectious diseases. As a team lead, you will motivate and guide EVS teammates to perform thorough cleaning using specialized equipment and techniques to sanitize the facility. You will learn and follow proper disposal of biohazard materials, use disinfecting chemicals safely, and handle cleaning for specialized rooms or equipment as required. You may restock supplies, refill soap and paper towel dispensers, deliver clean linens, and support overall cleanliness and comfort. You will excel if you are friendly and service-oriented, helping create a safe, comfortable environment for patients and colleagues. Responsibilities include routine cleaning and decluttering, sanitizing areas with approved tools and routines (patient rooms, emergency rooms, operating rooms, hallways, nurses' stations, waiting areas, restrooms), restocking supplies, and learning proper medical waste disposal.
