Junior Project Manager – Parks Program Unit, NYC Department of Design and Construction, New York, NY. Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101. Job Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week). This entry-level role reports to a Project Manager and offers training in higher-level project management responsibilities. Primary duties include maintaining the project management information system to support planning and control of project development; establishing project timeframes and cost schedules; coordinating activities between client agencies, contractors, and responsible departments; reviewing schedules, reports, and orders prepared by consultants, contractors, and client agencies to ensure alignment with project deadlines; monitoring contractor performance through field visits and on-site inspections; and preparing management reports to resolve schedule and budget issues.
