Catawiki is a global marketplace for extraordinary objects. We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join one of our main development verticals (Demand, Supply or Fulfilment) in Lisbon, Portugal, in a hybrid capacity. You’ll work alongside Backend, Frontend, iOS, and Android Engineers, QA, UX Designers, and Product Managers to create beautiful, adaptable web frontends on top of scalable microservices, supported by a Tech Lead Manager.

You’ll work alongside Backend, Frontend, iOS, and Android Engineers, QA, UX Designers, and Product Managers to create beautiful, adaptable web frontends on top of scalable microservices, supported by a Tech Lead Manager.
What you’ll do: - Build impactful product experiences across the platform for buyers, sellers, customer service, and internal teams. - Create adaptable web frontends using our core stack of TypeScript and ReactJS. - Deliver responsive, accessible experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile. - Optimize performance by measuring and monitoring systems and using insights to improve the experiences you build. - Collaborate on A/B tests with Product Managers and UX Designers; validate ideas with data. - Work with engineers, QA, design, and product colleagues to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
What you’ll bring: - Senior Frontend Engineer with extensive frontend experience, strong portfolio. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS; understanding of HTTP/S, Critical Rendering Path, CORS, caching, and CDNs. - Modern frontend skills: ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind, and/or Rails. - Experience in product companies; ability to work autonomously in cross-functional teams. - Production ownership: design, deployment, monitoring, and operation with focus on availability, latency, and consistency. - Knowledge o
