We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our Equity Derivatives Trading Desk. The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills, a solid understanding of the Equity Derivatives business, and a passion for maintaining and enhancing trade support platforms.
Role and responsibilities: - Maintain, monitor, and support EQD tools used daily by traders, structurers, and risk managers, ensuring reliability and performance - Contribute to the development of a transversal data platform that accelerates the creation of new applications across the firm - Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for builds, containerization, and deployment - Develop and enhance full-stack features with a focus on delivering business-driven functionality - Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions, while staying eager to deepen your finance knowledge
Qualifications: - Minimum of 4+ years of object-oriented programming experience; 2+ years of backend Python software development - Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes - Understanding of the equity derivatives business or a strong willingness to learn - Adaptable, proactive mindset with a growth mentality - Bonus: experience with AI/ML applications in analytics
Company benefits: - Competitive salary between USD 100,000 and 140,000 per year (no performance bonuses) - 401(k) retirement plan
