Qualifications: BS or BA in Business Administration or a relevant technical discipline; or AS/AA with four years’ experience; or eight years’ experience in lieu of a BA/BS. Minimum ten years of defense acquisition experience; at least three years in Navy Acquisition management. Experience with aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability. Ability to lead and direct large, diverse teams and provide guidance and supervision across program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management. Experience negotiating a collective bargaining agreement and managing a largely unionized workforce (e.g., 550+ personnel). Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
