Bulley & Andrews is seeking an on-site Assistant Project Manager in South Bend, Indiana to plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. The role involves managing small to mid-size projects from initiation through completion, including estimating, cost control, scheduling, reporting, and document control. Responsibilities include administering grade beam setup and attending field walkthroughs as the company representative, establishing processes for CMiC, supporting project startup activities, and implementing the overall project schedule. The person will manage day-to-day project activities, establish subcontractor communication workflows, oversee document management to ensure all updated documents are distributed to the project team, and prepare documentation for LEED-certified projects. The role also administers the change management process in collaboration with the PM or SPM and reports major issues related to schedule, changes, or field quality. Additional duties include conducting subcontractor pre-construction and OAC meetings and taking minutes, and collaborating with the project superintendent on field issues. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and four years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in construction.
