AMD is seeking a System Design Engineer to design, develop, and deploy tools and applications that support the design and deployment of large-scale AI/ML clustered infrastructure. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to build and maintain tools that integrate with diverse third-party systems and enable scalable AI deployments. This hands-on role requires experience in full-stack development, modern frontend frameworks, backend services, Linux, containers, CI/CD, and cloud or on-premises infrastructure. Responsibilities include translating requirements into flexible design solutions, owning features from design through deployment, collaborating with stakeholders across domains, and participating in code reviews and iterative development. Preferred experience includes strong Linux fundamentals, Kubernetes for HPC/AI, orchestration and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash), experience with parallel filesystems and data pipelines, and familiarity with the AMD ROCm ecosystem.
