Chainguard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Developer Platform team. This high-impact role powers Chainguard Engineering by building the internal platform, including the CI/CD pipeline, the Agentic AI platform (DriftlessAF), shared build infrastructure, and the processes for validating, reviewing, and landing changes. AI agents are reshaping how changes reach production, and this year the focus is scaling the substrate beyond traditional PR-based workflows while maintaining safety and review quality. You will collaborate on key areas of the Developer Platform, improve the speed and reliability of the monorepo CI/CD pipeline, productionize the Agentic AI platform (observability, RAG, and context-engineering patterns), and consolidate fragmented build systems into standardized blueprints to help new products onboard quickly. You will automate repetitive manual work, participate in design and code reviews, and contribute your technical voice to engineering velocity and operational excellence. Requirements: 4+ years of experience building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments; proficiency with Go; experience with CI/CD systems, container orchestration, and scaling a large monorepo; AI-forward mindset; strong communication; ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
