We are seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to attract and hire top talent for our data science, engineering, and product teams. You will own end-to-end recruitment, partner with hiring managers and leadership to prioritize headcount and shape hiring strategy, and use AI tools to source, screen, and evaluate candidates. You will act as a strategic partner to directors, VPs, and CTOs, share market insights and salary benchmarks, and contribute to employer branding and candidate outreach through events and alternative channels. The role requires managing multiple requisitions, delivering process improvements, and building a strong pipeline of exceptional technical talent. Qualifications include at least 5 years of technical recruiting experience (3+ years in-house at a tech startup), proficiency with AI-based sourcing tools, a track record of hiring across levels from engineers to managers, and the ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership. Total compensation range is $154,500 - $202,000, with additional equity and benefits. Formation Bio concentrates hiring in the New York City and Boston areas with a hybrid model requiring 3 in-office days per week; candidates from adjacent regions (e.g., Research Triangle, NC, or San Francisco Bay Area) may also be considered.
