About the role
Strategy is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the New York and Canadian Sales team focused on new logo business development. This on-site role will drive new business opportunities by selling our cutting-edge Business Intelligence software to organizations leveraging data analytics. You will identify key decision-makers, understand their data needs, and provide tailored solutions to empower informed decisions.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Prospect and lead generation: aggressively target new logos; generate leads through cold outreach, networking, and industry events; build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects seeking advanced BI solutions; qualify opportunities.
- Solution selling: engage with C-level executives, data analysts, and stakeholders to understand needs; present and demonstrate the value of our BI software; tailor pitches to market challenges.
- Deal management & closing: lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing; negotiate and overcome objections; consistently hit sales targets.
- Market intelligence & strategy: provide insights to product and marketing teams; help develop tailored sales strategies.
- Collaboration & reporting: work with sales engineering and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction; maintain CRM records; report progress to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience in BI software, data analytics, or related technology
