Senior Accountant at Hunt Corporate Group (El Paso, Texas, United States) will support the Internal Accounting & Reporting function within the Military SBU by ensuring timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and budgeting of service fees, G&A expenses, and overhead allocations. Key duties include posting and reviewing journal entries, general ledger analysis, budget compilations, and monthly financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. The role also involves preparing monthly interest calculations and financial statements for loans, reviewing the monthly bank reconciliation process, and analyzing payroll allocations. Additional responsibilities include payroll accruals and chargebacks, intercompany reconciliations, month-end close activities, and preparing the annual HMC Corp Budget. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with the Director/VP Controller, Hunt Property Accounting Team, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain reports, support special projects, and provide backup support as needed. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred), 4–6 years of corporate accounting experience (real estate experience preferred), proficiency with JD Edwards-Enterprise One or other ERP systems, and Workday experience preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in Excel; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; and CPA preferred.
