Project Manager Assistant is a position with IES, located on-site in Town of Conesville, New York, United States. The role provides administrative support for assigned projects, handling word processing, general filing, timekeeping, records management, correspondence, and the preparation and tracking of project-related financial documents to support billing, invoicing, and audit activities. Responsibilities include self-managing workload, monitoring and reporting project progress, coordinating with customer representatives, implementing process improvements, preserving confidential information, and managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. Additional duties include managing calendars and travel, assisting the program accounting team with labor, material, and subcontractor costs, reviewing site expenses, screening calls, tracking attendance, maintaining dashboards and project metrics, supporting document control, conducting vendor/subcontractor audits, and preparing reports for purchasing. Travel up to quarterly 1–3 day trips may be required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of related experience (including two years in telecommunications or construction administration), proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project), strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and travel as needed.
