Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Manager
Based in Hamlet, North Carolina, United States, this on-site leadership role directs a growing team responsible for delivering data center capacity and installing network infrastructure across AWS data centers. You will drive operational excellence, optimize deployment strategies, and implement low-voltage cabling across the Amazon data center platform.
Responsibilities
This role supports data centers in various operational stages, including facilities still under development; travel to established locations for training may be required until the designated site becomes fully operational.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators; manage projects, coach staff, and document processes.
- Oversee inbound capacity from receiving through deployment, including installation and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
- Guide, train, and educate staff on best practices related to all service delivery issues; ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large projects; coordinate team resources for projects, including emergency work, change management, maintenance windows, and off-hours/on-call needs.
- Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels; host weekly staff meetings; drive performance management.
- Drive compliance with safety, security, and Amazon performance requirements.
