Tech Lead - Savings — London (Oxford Circus), United Kingdom. Hybrid: 2 days per week. Monument Bank is seeking a Tech Lead to own the technical roadmap for the Savings product, lead a team of engineers, set the architectural direction, and ensure reliability, security and regulatory compliance. You will partner with Product and Design to architect and ship new Savings features from scoping to production release and monitoring; identify and implement AI-powered tooling to accelerate design, development and code review; improve the engineering capability of the team through mentoring, code reviews and tooling improvements; set and uphold architectural standards and coding conventions; line-manage engineers and build a high-trust environment; ensure the Savings product complies with UK GDPR and FCA Consumer Duty and meets operational resilience requirements; act as a trusted technical voice to the CTO and represent Savings in technical forums. The challenges include balancing growth with regulatory exposure, building credibility within the team, and integrating effective AI tooling into daily practice.
