About the role
Responsibilities - Identify emerging AI research and set the technical roadmap for Fivetran AI. - Prototype ideas quickly and turn them into production-grade features across backend and frontend. - Define technical direction across Fivetran AI and collaborating departments, resolving architectural tradeoffs. - Build and maintain backend and frontend systems for the product, including Agents Schema pipelines and the Context Catalog UI. - Own production reliability: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the system trustworthy at scale. - Mentor staff and senior engineers, influence cross-department decisions, and contribute to hiring.
